Believing in her creative approach and trusting her perceptive touch is why clients of Myra Long, founder and operator of "Skin Impressions Spa" in San Diego, California, have trusted her with the rejuvenation of their faces, bodies and souls for nearly a decade!
Upon entering the spa industry, Myra established herself with great enthusiasm in the specialized trade of resort services. Almost instantly she was recognized for her diligent mastery of skills as well as for her ability to guide others effectively. She soon welcomed the challenge of being assigned to a "lead" position within a multi-million dollar five star resort spa.
Myra was able to use this new position to further appreciate the details of managing the general operations of a growing business, all the while perfecting her own techniques, and broadening her knowledge base. She worked conscientiously to expand her many areas of service, always aiming to accommodate the needs of her ever growing and very diverse clientele.
It was around this time Myra was introduced to the fantastic hair removal method of "sugaring."
Drawn to this modality for its natural qualities and its many benefits to her clients, Myra quickly asserted her own style to its applications and made the method her own. Since first being offered, it has become one of her most requested services.
Soon thereafter Myra was offered an unbelievable opportunity to parallel her existing schedule and become the "lead" esthetician for one of the first and most renowned plastic surgery medical spas, located in the beautiful and exclusive area of Coronado, California.
This unique arrangement allowed Myra the rare chance to gain the immeasurable experience of working directly with doctors, surgeons, RN's and licensed field specialists in both a clinical and esthetic setting. While there, she gained knowledge and a keen insight to the value of IPL lasers, ""Clear light"" and "Relume" extended skin therapy options.
Always striving to stay current and informed, Myra commits herself to constant training and continuing education so she may continue to help her clients better understand the physiology of their skin and their overall wellness.
Being a working mother and working through three pregnancies has taught her first hand the effects everyday life can have on the person as a whole.
It is this combination of comprehension and compassion that continue to motivate her to be the best!

Raunette Vaughn has been working in the field of Esthetics for nearly a decade now. At the age of 12 years old her skin began to breakout due to hormones. She suffered the embarrassment of acne for about six years. She tried many medications such as, Retin-A, Accutane and birth control with little to no results and many other side effects such as hair loss, rashes, redness and weight gain. Finally at the age of 18 years old she decided to invest in a series of facials and a simple home care regimen. Day by day her skin continued to clear. She was taught the importance of properly cleaning her skin and educated on each product she was using. She also began to drink more water and eat more fruits and vegetables. She began to understand her skin. This was just the beginning of her journey in the field of Esthetics. She wanted to teach others and give them the confidence of having healthy skin.
Raunette offers a variety of services such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, microcurrent face lifts, waxing/sugaring, lash & brow tinting, mineral make up applications and airbrush tanning. Malinda Gibbons-Gwyn
Accupuncturist
Malinda Gibbons-Gwyn is a licensed acupuncturist and Maya Abdominal Massage (MAM) practitioner who specializes in treating sports injuries, pain and women's health issues. She treats both men and women.
Malinda combines acupuncture, herbs, MAM, and pelvic floor exercises to create a powerful healing combination for many common health issues. This treatment plan is the culmination of many years of study and research and it is her passion and privilege to share it with anyone who needs this type of work. It is especially useful for treating PMS, menopause, urinary leakage, infertility, and chronic vaginitis.
Malinda has a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. (Go Heels!)
In addition to required internships, she studied for three years with Matt Callison, a sports acupuncturist who specializes in motor point acupuncture. She also studied Japanese-style acupuncture and Master Tung's points. After school, she completed an internship in Chinese Herbology and Gynecology at the Nanjing University International Training Center in Nanjing, China. She has completed Total Control Training and is considered a "pelvic floor evangelist". She is an Apprentice to Dr. Rosita Arvigo in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage.
Malinda is also a freelance writer and fiddle player. She is originally from Asheville, North Carolina.

Frankie Frowiss is a full-time college student who has recently returned to the beaches of San Diego after a short time out exploring different methods and lines of skin care. Frankie has brought with her a lifelong passion for holistic health care and a true interest in the mind body and spirit connection. She is an accomplished esthetician and very knowledgeable of all aspects of chemical peels and facial massage. Nicolle Branning, bringing a life of experience to skin care

Nicolle knows beauty! At age 11, Nicolle worked in the professional modeling field. And while attending the Barbizon school of modeling, Nicolle observed the pros of photography, make-up and fashion beautify many a model. "I knew right away that the aesthetics of personal beauty held a special hold over my future as an adult."
Today, Nicolle Branning is a California Licensed skin care specialist with over 600 hours of training who can guide you through the maze of products available to resolve the most common skin ailments as well as many other skin care issues.

Nicolle attended school at the Je Boutique Academy in San Diego, CA, a highly praised, accredited beauty college and a member school of the elite group of Sassoon Academy schools. Her program of study included instruction in the nature of skin functions, procedures and methodologies of skin care and the study of chemistry and its effect on the skin. Additional formal training
After graduating she continued her education by attending extensive courses in the art of skin peels from the nationally recognized aesthetician, Rhonda Allison, who has produced her own line of nutriceuticals. These courses provided her with the training to dramatically change the formation of a person's skin. Nicolle's additional areas of study also included the medical effects of nutrition in resolving skin ailments such as: Hyper-pigmentation and hypo-pigmentation, rosecea, wrinkles, aging, and more.

Laura White has been a massage therapist for over 4 years now. She graduated from the International Professional School of bodywork and is Nationally Certified. She is trained in many different modalities and takes pride in all that she does. Throughout her years of experience she has developed her own approach to massage. It is Laura's intention is to leave you feeling relaxed, and rejuvenated. She believes that healing is a process, and a nurturing touch is the best path for amazing results.
